Your School Safety & Security Resource
“Why?” is the most important question today. Why do we fear for our children’s safety? Why do we feel the pain and anger following each senseless tragedy? Why are we frustrated that more is not being done to prevent this from happening? Why do I feel the way that I do about my family? Why did we launch Campus Contingency?
The tagline of 526 Media Group is “Relentlessly Serving Those Who Serve.” We too are servants, of what we call American Bedrock Infrastructure Industries–those brave men and women who, by the nature of what they do, allow the rest of us to live our lives in comfort and safety. Our backgrounds vary from creative content creators to security experts with backgrounds of experience at all levels of military, government and law enforcement. You are part of this, and we are here to serve you.
We launched Campus Contingency to do more than simply report the obvious; that our nation’s students, educators and schools need help. Leveraging our extensive resources, contacts and information in the federal, state, local and commercial business sectors, we are determined to change the course of current events that now only ask “when” the next school act of violence will take place.
We commit to you:
We will provide you only with the most credible information that will equip you to make better decisions concerning your school’s safety and security plans.
We will direct you only to resources that we have personally vetted and can vouch for so that you don’t waste time or money on things that will not make a difference.
We will provide education and training to empower you to take back the control of your school and your student’s safety.
We will find and share the funding resources that will equip you to implement these solutions.
We will lobby on your behalf to change the nation’s perspective on this topic and let your voice be heard.
Long ago, the government realized that federal, state and local buildings should be deemed “Critical Infrastructure.” This released waves of funding to establish, implement and enforce safety and security measures to keep these buildings and their occupants safe. Today, these structures are among the safest places in our country; however, schools were left off of that list.
While we work with our partners to bring public awareness and activism to this topic, we will work with you to assure that our nation’s most important resource–our children—remain safe. This is why we started Campus Contingency.
