Safe and Supportive Schools: National Center on School Infrastructure (Assistance Listing Number 84.184R)

The purpose of the NCSI program is to establish a national center on school infrastructure that will serve as a clearinghouse of resources for states and local educational agencies (LEAs) related to improving and developing safe, healthy, sustainable, and equitable public school infrastructure through public school infrastructure improvements, and provide technical assistance (TA) to Supporting America’s School Infrastructure (SASI) grantees and high-need LEAs seeking to leverage available resources to improve public school facilities for all students.

The purpose of this program is to increase the capacity of states to support high-need local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools in leveraging other available Federal, State, and local resources to improve school facilities and environments through public school infrastructure improvements to ensure that their public school facilities are safe, healthy, sustainable, and equitable learning environments for all students.

Community Grants (The Get Grounded Foundation) 

The Get Grounded Foundation makes Community Grants that support new, innovative, and entrepreneurial programs, methods, and approaches that support the healthy development of at-risk youth aged three through 15 in the Denver metropolitan area. Programs must focus on one or more priority areas of child abuse and neglect prevention, youth behavioral health, and hunger relief.

(Baltimore Community Foundation)

Baltimore Community Foundation (BCF) awards BCF Grants from organizations across Baltimore City and Baltimore County that are strengthening schools and building neighborhoods where children and families can thrive. BCF accepts proposals focusing on Kindergarten Readiness and Judy Centers, Student Mental Health, and School Climate and Culture for Schools and safety.

Stronger Connections Subgrant Program
(South Carolina Department of Education)

The Stronger Connections Subgrant Program is a subgrant program funded by the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA), authorized by Title IV, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), and administered by the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE). The purpose of the Stronger Connections subgrant program, as stated in the frequently asked questions, is to provide students with safer and healthier learning environments and fund only activities allowable under section 4108 of the ESEA. Subgrant funds must be used to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive programs within high need LEAs.

Momentum Maker Grant

(Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Foundation for Community Health and Advancement)

The 2023 Momentum Maker grant is focused on improving mental health in schools by addressing stress and anxiety faced by Arizona students, teachers, and staff. Schools and districts can apply for the 2023 Momentum Maker grant. The Foundation will also accept submissions from an individual applying on behalf of a specific school or district that would benefit from the Momentum Maker grant.
